How to measure
Measure your dog's chest immediately behind the front legs (a few centimetres), using a soft tape measure. Pull the tape snugly against the coat without placing fingers underneath.
Always choose your harness by your dog's chest measurement rather than breed. Breed examples are provided as a general guide only; dogs of the same breed can vary considerably in size and body shape.
Chest girth = a snug body measurement around the widest part of the ribcage, a few centimetres (inch or so) behind the front legs.
